Garry Hayes at Lava Flow on the Big Island

Anthropology 190/Geology 190: Field Studies in the Hawaiian Islands

Join us on the journey of a lifetime on May 30-June 11, 2024! Nine days on the Big Island of Hawai’i and four days on Kaua’i, exploring volcanoes, coral reefs, tropical rainforests, tropical deserts, ancient foot trails and petroglyphs, and archaeological sites! This will be a dyad class, Geology 190 and Anthropology 190. You do not need a background in geology or anthropology, as we will develop all the skills you need during our journey.

We had an informational meeting on January 22. If you missed it, you can watch the zoom recording at this link:

Passcode: 5^R.rQ2d
